| How Your Membership Works for You Should you ever require emergency medical services from your community EMS agency, your membership will waive any costs not covered by your insurance. Your agency will automatically bill your insurance company and accept that compensation as payment in full. Review your individual insurance plan to see how this benefit applies to you. Medicaid transportation costs are covered in full, but many plans cover only a portion of the cost of an emergency medical call. Regardless of your coverage, MedGuard membership will eliminate any personal payment. |
